There is no doubt that this will translate into at least some increased traffic. Increased traffic increases the odds that someone will make a purchase or inquire about your services. Increasing traffic to your site is the whole purpose behind SEO.

Considering the only resource that using social media takes up, is time, it is definitely a worthy investment considering the possible returns. And in this day and age, everyone else is using social media, so to remain on an even playing field with your competitors and not be left in the dust; you’re going to want to use it.
